- I will email you an invoice for payment which will include the fees payable to the State of California Secretary of State which will include the filing fee and the expedited filing fee, and our fee for filing your documents.
- Pay the online invoice for filing your documents.
- We will write checks payable for the fees to the Secretary of State.
- We will submit your documents in person in Sacramento.
- We will pick up a certified copy of your filed documents after the Secretary of State finished processing it. If the Secretary of State rejects your filing, our fee is not refundable.

California Corporation Expedited Filing Service Options
The California corporation expedited filing service offers a number of options for people who need to have their documents processed quickly. These options vary in price, and also in terms of the type of documents that they will accept.
Class A applications are the fastest in terms of processing. This service offers a guaranteed response to pre-approved and pre-checked documents that are submitted in person, within four hours of submission. The pre-authorisation service carries an additional fee and proccessing time, though, making this an expensive option overall.
The California corporation expedited filing service also has a ‘same day’ offering which costs a bit more than the Class A service but allows you to submit documents that have not been checked ahead of time. To take advantage of this service you will need to submit your documents to the Sacramento office before 9.30 AM on that working day. You will have a response back by 4 PM with Class B expedited filing.
The third option is ’24 hour’ service, which has a guarantee that if you submit your documents before closing time Monday through Thursday, you will have a response back within 24 hours. The Sacramento office is open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, and within the boundaries of those opening hours, they offer a 24 hour expedited filing service. The office does close for state holidays so take those into account if you are considering putitng in a last minute filing application.
Note, also, that the expedite fee is on top of the regular filing fee. The service is a useful option to have when you are in a rush, but it would be far less expensive to simply submit your application at your local office and wait the normal length of time for it to be processed.
